Skeptic History Notes–
The ruling in Kitzmiller v. Dover on December 20, 2005 did huge damage to
efforts to teach “intelligent design” in schools.
The Rendlesham Forest UFO incident, sometimes called “Britain’s Roswell”
began 30 years ago on December 26, 1980.
Chemist and microbiologist Louis Pasteur was born December 27, 1822.
Isaac Newton was born December 25, 1642.
Some rationalists refer to that day as Newtonmas instead of Christmas
in order to have a science-based holiday to celebrate.
