Derek does a quick update discussion with Jonathan Tweet, the author of 'Grandmother Fish - a child's first book of Evolution'. Since last Jonathan was on Skepticality to discuss his Kickstarter project to create a book which appeals to the youngest of us that also teaches about the scientific theory of evolution, his book has been finished and is now in the hands of many families. Find out if the story was a success in getting kids more interested in evolution and how all life on Earth is interconnected.

Interview: Jonathan Tweet [xx:xx]
Jonathan Tweet, author of “Grandmother Fish – a child’s first book of Evolution“.
– Jonathon wants to support local book stores by not giving all the books to Amazon.
– Good news is that the book project has been picked up by Macmillan!
Try to get a copy for yourself, and your children!
– Feedback from parents have shown that kids really have connected with the interactive elements of the book.
– Although, the artwork is pretty amazing as well.
– Go to the Grandmother Fish website to support the project and be one of the proud backers.
– Jonathon has plans to do his next book on climate change aimed at children.
– Sadly, the same bad thinking causes people who do not accept evolution to also deny climate change, why we have the NCSE!
It is a wonderful, beautiful, thing that all life is interconnected through evolution.
– Maybe more people will accept evolution if it is wrapped in something cute, fun, and attractive!
