- The first modern Loch Ness monster sighting was by the Spicers on July 22, 1933.
- Frank Searle’s photo of the monster dates from July 27, 1972.
- Peter McNab’s photo of the monster dates from July 29, 1955.
- Apollo 11 photo AS11-36-5319, which may or may not depict a UFO, was taken July 16, 1969.
